Our History

Since I saw the need for an occupational health and safety company in our geographic area, I made it my mission to be at the community’s service.

I opened my own company in 2014 with the aim to improve the working conditions of employees in need without the need for the company to be moved from their comfort zone. We have been successful in achieving this particular goal.

Who Is DOHS And What Do We Do?

Diana’s Occupational health services is a professional company that provides for and delivers health and safety programs plus services to employees, employee populations, and the community groups. The company focuses on promotion, maintenance and restoration of health, prevention of illness and injury, and protection from work – related and environmental hazards.

We strive to keep our community safe and healthy in all categories of the industries and businesses. According to the Occupational Health and Safety Act No. 85 of 1993 our vision is to improve the health and safety of the working environment by performing Pre – Employment, Baseline, Periodic and Exit Medical Surveillance to all relevant employees.

We include Audio, Spirometry and Vision screening testing according to Job specifications. We want to create a work environment with good health, wellness, triumph and assistance leading to success.

We aim to develop and improve skills, diversity, equity and respect for all people in protection and enhancement of worker/employee rights.

OUR MISSION

The mission of Occupational Health and Safety aim to participate in the significant role of reducing work related injuries, diseases and fatalities through pro – active, preventative strategies and policies with the purpose of protecting and enhancing the rights of workers to a safe and healthy work environment.

OUR OBJECTIVES

Primary
Our primary objective is to provide protection for the employees against injury, disease and other adverse effects on their wellness and comfort arising from their work or workplace conditions. We aim to promote the health and wellness of all employees.

Secondary
Our secondary objective is to protect the Company against associated risks, losses, costs and claims which might otherwise be incurred.
